I believe that food has the power to either heal us or harm us and that one of the most important self-care practices is to cook our own nourishing meals. In the section below, you'll find food-centered articles and below that is a growing collection of healing, whole foods recipes, free of refined sugars.
I try to avoid the most common food irritants and so the vast majority of these recipes are gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, sugar-free and soy-free with a few exceptions as I also believe that it's what you do most of the time that counts.
Regardless of your personal tastes, I always encourage that you buy local and sustainable foods with an emphasis on organic, non-GMO, grass-fed, pasture-raised, and wild-caught.
