Rainbow Cabbage Salad Recipe

This is one of my favorite dishes to make for my yoga retreats and potlucks. It's light, sweet, and tangy with great texture. It's also super quick, easy and keeps well for a couple of days. A perfect summer-time salad or side dish and a *great* cleansing food.

Rainbow Cabbage Salad Recipe

(10 minutes, 8-10 servings)


  • 1/3 green cabbage, shredded or thinly sliced

  • 1/3 red onion, finely diced

  • 1/2 bunch of cilantro, chopped

  • 2 small or 1 large carrot, shredded

  • 1/4 cup raisins

  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

  • 1/8 cup lemon juice

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 c extra virgin olive oil

  • fresh black pepper, to taste


  1. Combine all ingredients into a large bowl and toss well.
